a) Prof. Mrittunjay Bhattacharyya, Educationist - Former Vice Chancellor of WBUT, KIIT
Prof. Bhattacharyya has been an academician for more than two score years, most of it in the field of higher education. He has served for many years in Banaras Hindu University. He has also served as the first Vice Chancellor of both West Bengal Technical University, Kolkata and KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. He has also served as the Vice Chancellor of Assam University, Silchar. In addition to his experience of setting up the academic and administrative processes for universities; he brings with him unparalleled erudition and an aura of quality and excellence.
b) Dr. P. K. Mishra, Education Entrepreneur, Founder KIIT
Dr. P. K. Mishra, the youngest doctorate in the state of Orissa, has been a successful education entrepreneur having been involved with the inception and development of KIIT for 15 years – from a small ITI to a university housing more than 7000 students across more than 15 programs. He is known to be a strategic thinker and innovator and has been credited with various revolutionary initiatives in the Indian academic scene – including (and among others) the use of technology for education management.
c) Mr. Srijat Mishra, Management Consultant, PGDM, IIM Calcutta
Mr. Srijat Mishra is a B.Tech and a post-graduate in Management. He has rich experience in strategy and process consulting. He has been associated in a consulting and an advisory capacity with more than 100 organizations in the country. Mr. Arindam Bhattacharya has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of Human Resource Management. e) Prof. Nanigopal Das, Academician, MCA, M.Tech, IIT Guwahati
Prof Nanigopal Das, has done cutting edge research in his areas of interest in the field of Information Technology. Currently he is pursuing his Ph.D. programme in the department of computer science & engineering at IIT Guwahati and also he is involved with IIT Guwahati on research engagements. He has been selected by World Bank for a project called “Reconstruction of Technical University” for Herat University, Afghanistan. He has more than twelve years of teaching experience in various premier institutes. In addition to his academic pursuits, he has valuable hands-on experience interfacing with education regulatory bodies like AICTE, NAAC, and NBA etc.
f) Mr. Rajesh Sharma, B. Tech (Gold Medalist), Director Kalingasoft
Mr. Rajesh Sharma has more than 12 years experience in designing systems and processes including for manufacturing companies, service organizations, universities and educational institutes. He has had rich experience in leading teams for companies like BHEL, Cognizant Technologies, Infosys and Kalingasoft. He enjoys an impeccable track record of regularly exceeding client expectations. Mr. Goutam Goswami, a chartered accountant by training, plays the role of the financial expert for the execution of DBU project. He brings insights relating to fee fixation and cost management. 1.3 WBUT (West Bengal University) - Prof. Mrittunjay Bhattacharyya, Educationist - Former Vice Chancellor of WBUT
Prof. Mrittunjay Bhattacharyya has been in the field of higher education for more than two score years. He was one of the pioneers in setting the West Bengal University. He was the first Vice Chancellor of WBUT and has contributed a lot in the foundation of the university. The present WBUT is the outcome of the efforts that has been put by Prof. Mrittunjay Bhattacharyya.
The West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) came into existence on August 5, 2000 and is set to become a Centre of Excellence in multidisciplinary science and technology areas of topical importance, in studies and research, in addition to providing adequate facilities for the pursuit of degree and advanced-level course in management, paramedical and other professional areas through its affiliated institutions. The University has been accorded the affiliating University status with its jurisdiction encompassing the entire state of West Bengal.
